Client: Paz y Esperanza – Moyobamba
A mining company polluted the water supply of the Shawi San Jose tribe. In the Andean-Amazon not far from the Huallaga River these few members share their story to Paz y Esperanza. Paz y Esperanza dedicates themselves to helping native tribes gain legal autonomy to prevent major corporations evicting them from their own land. Lawyers, engineers, and anthropologists work alongside these tribes to help them develop their own tribal identity and share their story.
